The short version
This is a personal portfolio/blog/consulting site run by Chris. I collect the minimum needed to keep the site running and to answer messages you send me. No ad networks, no data brokers, no selling anything to anyone.
What I collect
- Analytics. I use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization. It tracks which pages you visit and where you came from. No personally-identifying fields are sent. You can opt out with any standard analytics blocker.
- Contact form submissions. If you email me through the contact form, I receive your name, email, and message. I keep the message until we're done talking, then I delete it. I don't add you to any list.
- Free tool inputs. The free tools (AI detector, humanizer) send your pasted text to an inference API to generate the result. Inputs are not stored on my servers. Providers may retain inputs transiently per their own policies.
- Server logs. Cloudflare keeps request logs for a few days for abuse prevention and security. IP addresses are included. I don't process them further.
Cookies
The site sets a Google Analytics cookie (_ga) on your first visit if analytics isn't blocked. No other cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile is used on forms to verify you're human — it may briefly set technical cookies for that check.
Third parties
- Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, CDN, Turnstile.
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymized analytics.
- Cal.com — consultation booking (linked out, not embedded by default).
- OpenRouter / Ollama — model inference for the free tools.
Your rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws you can ask me what data I hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email chris@doanythingai.com and I'll reply within a week.
